What happens with data I enter to pause and resume the survey later?
In case you enter a name and email address to resume the survey later, this information is only used by the system in order to send your personalized link to load the unfinished survey and is not known to the survey evaluators.
What happens with your data and how is it protected?
Your data will be used only for the research aim stated above. The anonymously collected data will be stored and evaluated at the DKFZ in Germany (Heidelberg). A transfer to a third party will not take place. We only reserve the option to publish the aggregated results.
Which data protection rights do you have?
The legal foundation of the data processing is your consent according to art. 6 § 1a of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Responsible in the sense of the (GDPR) is the DKFZ. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without the specification of reasons by clicking on "Exit and clear survey“ (top right corner of each page of the survey). In this case, all information you have entered so far will be deleted.
After submission of the survey a withdrawal of the consent is not possible anymore since the individual survey responses cannot be related to personal information. For this reason, you also cannot receive the information of data stored at DKFZ afterwards or request deletion, correction or limitation of this data.
